Sorry I have betrayed team 1st gen! Nothing lasts forever, not even 1st gen tacomas (or 3rd for that matter).

Was going to keep mine forever. Last truck I was ever going to buy. Really wanted to start modifying it

Forgot to turn in license plates before boot camp, DMV said it was going to cost me $2000 to get that truck reregistered in my name.

Bondo started falling out everywhere, probably gonna cost a few thousand to fix.

Not wanting to eat up a huge chunk of deployment savings, I said screw it, I’ll just sell it and add the $$$ to my deployment savings for a down payment, and voila! I now have a truck that I’m going to keep forever, and will be worth fixing in the long run.

Those Turd Gens are going to die well before the 1st Gens. When they do, there will still be plenty of 1st and 2nd Gen trucks out there going strong...

Trail gear 5" kit with trail gear 4 link and air shocks in the rear. There's no motor in it so its sitting a little higher then normal. It also has a 2" body lift to clear the 4 link crossmember. I'm gonna try and remove the body lift, and then probably swap to 3" springs and maybe some coils in the rear. Its taller then I would like and it still has tiny tires! But for now I'm more concerned with the engine swap!

The best red, that wine red color doesn't do anything for me

I really need to shit of get off the pot when it comes to my first gen. I either spend another bundle having the cab repainted (rock chips and door dings) or sell it and get a turd gen for my mall adventures

3rd gen Tacoma or 4Runner? A Radiant red 4runner would be nice as well.
