Current plan is just to spend a day at the expo. It's more of an excuse to go on an epic trip across NM and AZ :) We've budgeted time enough to enjoy the scenery but we'll see what happens as plans become more solidified. I wouldn't be surprised if North Rim had to wait until another time. Don't really want to rush it. Further you get the more time it takes to get back.

Does anyone know what the dispersed camping in Coconino NF is like during the event? Hoping to get a site fairly close to Flagstaff but I'm wondering if I'll have trouble finding one available

The forest is large, but my guess is you’ll be far out from the event or near someone. There’s lots of space near the event but it’s more meadow that deep woods if I remember correctly

Had a cabin at Ft Tuthill from 5/18-20, cancelled it. Someone call and secure it if you’re eligible.
