One of the appeals of the AT2's was the price. Good value for a good tire. I wonder how the ATX's will compare? I assume they will cost more.

AT2s were great value, but unfortunately did not come in C load in 265/75/16 size.

I will need new tires in next 6 months and was going to get C rated 265/75/16 Duratracs, but can afford to wait to see what options General brings out.

To give it to you short and sweet, the new General Grabber ATx enjoys an updated sidewall and shoulder tread design compared with its Grabber AT2 predecessor—which was pretty darn good in its own right. The ATx is whisper-quiet on the road, grabs like gangbusters in the corners, bites hard on dirt roads and loose-soil climbs, and thankfully when it’s time to push your nonrunning FSJ to the curb, it rolls glassy-smooth with little rolling resistance.

As an FYI, I got an email yesterday from General. I emailed them to ask when the ATX would be out and they said next month. I’m going to hold off and at least see what they offer before I upgrade.

Ahd there was an order! Bought these during the Presidents Day sale, but had to wait for both wheels and tires. Grabber A/T2 265/70/17 and Method Roos wheels.

I really wish the Grabber was available in a more reasonable size as well. I want red letters damn it!

The General ATX may not show on the Discount Tire website in all sizes depending on where you are located but your local store can order them for you. Here are a couple on Discount Tire's website:

Please send us a PM if we can help.
