Blacked Out Dash Chrome

Colors aren't available yet, but I will add them soon. For now the color option is only matte black and you can select the option to include the steering wheel logo inlay (also in matte black).

 

Which wizgear did you get that mounts there rather than the vents?

Update on the MT version: I used up my remaining matte black vinyl for the AT version so I had to order more matte black vinyl to build the stock of MT versions. This will take about a week to get. Thanks for your patience!

Got mine installed! Looks great and easier than I thought! I actually rigged up a cover for the 4x4 Knob and Gear Shift as well. Just used some old vinyl I had laying around and my kid's compass.

After installing @rrentrop kit I was at Home Depot getting a part for a bathroom remodel, must've had black-put on the brain bc I saw a 5.5 inch O-Ring for a disposal and thought, I bet that would fit on the 4x4 knob... sure enough. Boom. Check it out.

Interested as well! I've had many requests to make something for the shifter chrome but I think this might be a good alternative. Also, can you provide the measurements you used for the 4WD knob? I'd like to add that to my set.

I am almost ready to use electrical tape. Although a strip of vinyl the same width as the chrome ring would suffice as you could hide the seam by facing the dash.

 

honestly I just used the extra starter button ring to go on the 4WD knob. It fits well enough that the chrome is all covered

 

Now if we could just eat rid of that pesky power mirror knob...

I don’t have measurements. I just grabbed the compass and put the metal point in the center of the 4x4 knob with the pencil at the inner chrome ring. Drew a circle on back of the vinyl and then did it again with the outer ring. The disposal gasket covered the top curved part of the chrome. Best part is I’ll never accidentally grab the 4x4 knob when turning up the AC now that it’s rubber haha. As far as the bag from HD I don’t have it but I’m up there almost daily so I’ll snag one and post it

 

And yeah... on the shifter knob I just have the overlap seam facing the dash.
