i have a 2016 Tacoma TRD sport with about 50000km (30000mi) on it. After about a 3 hour drive in hot weather I sudden had multiple check warnings appear. These include check brake aystem, check anti-lock brake system and check blind spot system. They all occurred at once. The truck drives normally. Given that these all occurred at once is this likely to be a sensor issue or something else? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sure his kids are fine. No need to call child protective services.

If In US you you still have 6k bumper to bumper warranty left, it be a good idea imo to let them pull codes and sort it out now

Do you happen to have a remote start installed?

Yes there is in fact. Bought the truck used and yeah think I have until 60000km (Canada) comprehensive warranty. Have an 8 hour drive home so just wanted to make sure it's not something dangerous. What does the remote start affect?

Well when I installed mine, I didn't use the right t-taps, and when the connectors wouldn't make a proper connection, I would get those exact same, or a combination of those lights. I bought some posi-taps that are for the right gauge and plan to swap them out soon.

If the remote start isn't installed properly it can cause you issues with your Truck. Good Luck.

This happened to me a couple times along with the Entune shutting off. Turned out the negative battery cable was loose from the factory. Worth checking it out anyway....easy fix if it is

I would do this if i had no warranty left or if i had plenty so that i would have time to have the dealer address it before it runs out.
I do agree it may fix it for now but the codes may not come back till after the warranty.
It would seem The OP maybe caught between the rock & the hard place and i would advice a call to the dealer at least before disconnecting anything

    Cheers

That sounds like the CPS issue.

Hmm I thought CPS threw different warnings and usually caused it to go into limp mode in these trucks? Seems odd that CPS would trigger "check brake" warnings with no other symptoms, or have people experienced that already?

Any luck with resolving this? My truck is currently sitting over night at the dealer with this same issue.
