Similar but def not a cheap/free mod. Looks good @Longbed Betty

I got some Thule top track channels (ment for the top of caps to be able to mount cross bars) and drilled the window casing of my cap and bolted them on. I grinded down some carriage bolts to slide through the tracks as mounting points. Than made some bridge plates out of aluminum and used all threads as the pins that my TREDs would slide onto, than a plate to bolt them down. I ended up using spline lug nuts to tighten everything down to deter theft.. I have two sets of treds, black and olive. Final decision was to use black on the outside. Came out pretty clean getting all the aluminum brackets powder coated.

In reference to the Grid-It console mod on G2's fitting G3's...

Likely not since the G2 consoles are a side-lift rectangle while the G3's are a rear lift and more square. You could probably pull it off if you make the Grid-It wrap the inner front and rear edge, so you'll have to do some measuring to make sure. If it will fit, Velcro probably won't hold it, so you'll need to consider drilling six anchor points ( each corner and two in the middle of the long edge ) and using short thin bolts with washers on each side of the console's plastic. I would also recommend hiding the bolts under one of the strands. When I eventually get my '18 Taco, I'll be seriously considering this.

I realize this post is kinda old but this phone case may interest you. If you have a new phone now....no big deal they probably a case for it too. I’ve put my case through hell and my phone doesn’t have a scratch but I also have a good screen protector to accompany the case.

A big plus for me with this case is the magnet in the case also comes in handy when you need to stick your case to something metal to provide light for what you may be doing. If there are any questions about the magnet interfering with other things you may have in your pocket don’t worry. I’ve had it in my pocket with many magnet sensitive items such as my gov CAC card which for some reason can have the security certificates wiped by a magnet which has actually happened to me but not due to my case, it happened before I had the case. I have the rokform rugged.

I’m looking for rack ideas, storage, lighting.

Mainly looking for overland/adventure ideas as my pro is my hiking and camping vehicle.

    Thank you!

Hey I’m kinda new too and watching this thread for the same reasons, forgive my ignorance, but are there “local” groups? Cuz I’ve been curious about Michigan area sandboxes to play in...as well as rack, storage, lighting ideas for camping..

I'm in the thread "NEW ENGLAND BS thread" which is very active.
If you can't find one in you geographical area that you like, then Start one!
You may/should contact @tcBob to let him know your starting a group if you don't find one.
He owns this site but don't worry I don't but I think he bites.
So go for it, start Michigan group or a new one in your part of the state or maybe you'll find you like!..
