Also, again keep in mind that this was the old Charlie.

I just abstain from taking pictures in most situations, and when I must I just use my phone. My phone is more discreet...

It might just be your perception at times. Just because someone is asking you to stop doing something doesn't mean they're having an attitude. It might be that you just don't like being told not to do something.

While you're thinking what a douchnozzel some mall cop is....the mall cop is probably thinking what a douchnozzel this guy is.

My nephew struggles with positions of authority. They tend to baffle him and he really has a difficult time processing what to do. He tends to overreact or underreact. His lack of social skills becomes even more apparent when he's stressed or caught off gaurd

That's exactly what happened to me. I was caught off guard (even though I knew there was chance security would bug me, but he came out of nowhere; he was more of a security ninja than a security guard). I cooperated with him, and I just think that my whole family being kicked off the property for a minor first offense was a bit harsh...

    @Plain Jane Taco

    @Iamraiderpower

Tell me what you think of this one...

I was at a huge car show in either 2011 or 2012, and this absolutely beautiful '57 Chevy caught my eye (as in a car that was in the show).

It was a silver convertible with a red interior (factory colors), and I started taking pictures of this beautiful car with my Nikon, from different angles. The owner and his wife were seated in folding chairs behind the car.

Keep in mind that this is was at a CAR SHOW!

Finally, the owners asks in a rather annoyed and downright abrasive tone why I was taking so many pictures of his car.

    I say again...

Futhermucking car show! And it's not like it was some ordinary car either...

It was a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air!

I forget how I responded, but I remember being absolutely dumbfounded that somebody would have problems with me taking pictures of a car at the one place you're encouraged to take pictures of cars!

And here's another one, from April of 2015 or 2016

I was taking pictures of a truck at yet another car show, and this group of kids was riding by on BMX-style bikes...

Clueless spectators who unintentially photobomb you are annoying enough, but this teenage douchebags decided to show off for his friends. It has rained the previous day and there was mud everywhere. This shithead decides to jump his bike up in the air (kind of a bicycle bunny hop), and honestly I don't think he realized I was there, but that's besides the point. He goes up in the air, and both tires land in the mud puddle...

This in turn splatters me, and my $700 SLR camera, with mud.

I immediately screamed "Hey, what the fuck?!?! You just got mud all over my fucking camera!"

There were two or three of these kids, and I was bigger than all of them. Before I could even get to my feet, they took off like the pussy bitches they were...

The one kid probably thought I was about to put my foot up his ass (which I think would have been well-deserved).

    No honor or integrity anymore...

    :(

This is a daily occurrence in the alley in front of my work...

People are too lazy to find parking so they flip on their hazards and leave their car sitting in the alley in such a way that it at least partially blocks the alley...

That Prius up there (lights off) belongs to a member of tonight's band, so they have a legit reason to be there. The woman in that Saab convertible just abruptly slammed on her brakes and turned on her hazards. This led to angry beep from a Jeep Wrangler behind the Saab. I missed the near-ender (combination of rear end and near), but I came up the stairs in time to see the aforementioned Jeep Wrangler rapidly accelerate around the Saab...

I saw this rigged up in a 2006ish Toyota Highlander...

Appears to be an air-conditioned/heated suit of some sort...

Ah! That makes sense! Though I could have sworn the Highlander Limited had rear A/C...

And I'm wondering why they'd need it in Pennsylvania this time of the year...

It's friggin' cold here right now! I've never had kids, but I don't think you'd want heat blowing right on junior's head...

Security guards usually come in two varieties:

    1. They know they’re pretty much for show, and act as such.

    2. These guys think they have acquired some power over people, and try to stretch it to the limits, just to feel powerful themselves.

This also applies to paper-pushers btw. So many of them will lord the power they have over you when they have your papers.

Anyway, I also have a security guard story:

I used to work at a tutoring center in a university. Tutoring center was inside the library. Work shifts were up to 6 hours. The library had a no-food policy, but we always snuck snacks into tutoring area to snack during shifts that were not busy. Kids receiving tutoring did it too, because they would also be there for hours at a time. Well this one security guard was always walking in, checking trash cans for food wrappers and talking shit about reporting us.

I also studied in the library often, which I did outside of tutoring area, so as to make it clear I was not working. My optimal studying pattern/cycle was 50 minutes non-stop focus, and then 10 minutes walking around to rest my mind. The same security guard mentioned above would see me walking around every hour, and one time he tried to kick me out of the library saying some bullshit about me disturbing students by walking around. I got into a heated argument with him, friends who were studying with me backed me up that I was indeed studying, and he ended up walking away.

And I would also like to point out that actual cops are always pretty cool! It's the cop wannabes who annoy me...
