found another road down by Kemptville, doesn't look like much tho, there's a sign that says, Unmaintained Road, so its safe to say u can drive on it at own risk. it is where Fourth Line turns into Donnelly Dr right across from Reevecraig Rd S. not too sure if its just a dead end but it might lead west to McCordick Rd or could take a turn north to head back up to Dilworth. either way it wouldn't take too long to get from one end to the other lol

Where is that Larose forest? Offroad park or public lands? I live close to Rockland, but on the other side of the river lol might worth the 10$ for the ferry to go there!

about 30 min from you. Its public land managed by the township. It used to have tones of trails but now its down to a few decent ones. The trails are very well marked and you can get trail maps online for it. Used to go a lot when I was with the local 4x4 club.

Just found this thread. I am in Westmeath, just east of Pembroke on the Ottawa. Nice to see lots of people in the area. Maybe we'll see you on the trails sometime! This is me:20180224_115055.jpg

Grew up near Cornwall on the St. Lawrence river, been in the valley about twenty years.
This area is absolutely covered in trails and backroads. I'm not a hardcore offroader, those days are long gone. Too much at stake and not enough cash to cover the repairs/mods! My taco has to get me to work monday morning! Most of what I do is forest access roads for fishing, hunting, and wandering with the kids. I will say the most bang for your buck is the trail systems along the Noire River near Waltham. Pretty awesome over there you could go forever on dirt. Amazing fishing too. Its pretty much the swisha loop that you guys talk about, but daytrippable.
