i have a 2014 Tacoma double cab 6ft bed. I bought the truck with a lift installed already . It’s s 6” bds lift with coil overs and Fox shocks . 35” mastercraft tires 18” wheels. The truck feels sloppy like in the front end at speeds under 30 and light bumps in the road. Like u feel light clunking under your feet just sloppy feeling. The truck only has 11,300 miles on it. I’m new to independent front sus. I’ve owned solid axel Jeep’s lifted so I’m not sure if this feeling is even normal.any one have any info of why It feels sloppy ....At highway speeds it all feels fine.

Do you have aftermarket upper control arms or stock? Could be bushings or lower control arm/ upper control arm bushings, rackinpinion, etc, or could come down to the wheels lugs and other things aren't torqued to specs.

They are factory control arms. My thought was bushings too however the truck has only 11,300 miles on it. Before I bought the truck 6 months ago the dealer did breaks. I never thought to check the lugs. I’m gonna do that now.

The control arms could be your culprit. That's a big lift you got there and some large wheels and tires. That upper control arm it's going to limit the alignment possibilities, so it may feel wierd, most run a 16 inch or 17 rim but going to a 35 inch tire is unheard of around here with a factory control arm.

It’s a 3,500 dollar bds 6” lift that calls for the 18” rim and 35” tire.

I believe it’s bds 815f kit. U retain stock control arms . From what I know bds doesn’t sell control arms with the Tacoma kits. The kit uses cross members to drop the entire front end.

I am not familiar with it at all. Could possibly be the bearing hubs also. Like I said that's a big set up you got and it's going to put some stress on all of those parts. You might try the Hawaii threads, they are renoun for their 6 in lifts.
