Can I lower the drivers seat in my 2011 access cab? I put on seat covers and they raised the seat enough that I bump my head now when I enter. Does anybody know if somebody makes
lower brackets that replace oem brackets? I thought of removing them and cutting and welding. I hate to trust my welding skills on something as important as the only thing keeping the seat in place in an accident.

It would be pretty hard to lower without serious modification. The seat slider sits right on a cross member welded to the floor

No you cannot, the seats basically sit right on the floor of the cab.The O.P needs a bigger truck.
