Hey @Dave41079 . Any idea what your front setup weighs? I have 120lbs of US Offroad bumper and winch. Just bought the Pro Setup and wondering if i will need spacer or not. Thinkin i will AAL out back for extra 1.5". I dont have any weight in the back, but do have bags to handle when i tow my tractor. Thanks

Just a guess, but I'd say around 150lbs max. I can remove/install it by myself, so it isn't super heavy.

So did you add the 1"spacer that goes to bottom of spring? How's that pro setup run with that weight? I'm thinking about not using the spacer.

I did the half inch top plate spacer. I did a 10,000 mile road trip over this past summer and it was a very comfortable ride. It also rides very well off-road, especially with the tires aired down.

Was it the 1\2" spacer that gives you an inch or 1\4" spacer that gives you 1\2"? What was the reason for new uca? Couldn't hit #'s you want on alignment?

Both. General rule of thumb, compress the coil half the length of how much lift you want.

1/2" spacer so I got an inch...ish. UCAs were for ease of getting numbers I wanted.

Thinking even if i go without the spacer, i may get some UCA's. Don't like the lean out i have now at 1.75"

You remember what your #'s were before the spacer? Still on the fence on whether or not to do UCA's. :annoyed:

I don't, it's been too long ago. I say do it without the UCAs and see what the alignment looks like. You can always put them on later.

Thats probably what i will end up doing. I should be a little lower in front with my weight anyway.

I got to fix the damn cam tabs a shop snapped off. Also have to build up my rear bracket for my bags to accommodate the AAL. Daystar cradles. What am i forgetting, lol. May just go ahead and do tie rods and ball joints while i am in there, lol... May be gettin close to time for those with 85k huh?

Not having to do UCA too will save me some time.

I did my UCAs in about an hour by myself. It isn't that bad...mostly.

Ya, just bad for my wallet :spending:

Is there such a thing as not having enough lift and installing UCA, that would then prevent you from hitting your alignment #'s? I only ask, cause not sure where i will end up with the TRD Pro setup and my extra 120lbs. Not sure what i will lose of that 2". I'd like to be able to hit 0 on my camber. I've got a slight hint of negative camber now and dont like how it looks. 1.75 on the billy's, but really think i may have ended up with more than that.

It's really hard to say without just trying it and finding out. I was more concerned with my caster numbers, and getting the tire forward out of the firewall.

Dave's answer is right but simply answering it with a "yes" is more right. :p

Most aftermarket ucas have 3 degrees of caster built in so with no lift, your wheel would be 3 degrees worth of distance pushed forward (I'm not sure how far that is). Most ucas are non adjustable and since they only have added caster (not added -/+ camber) they are going to throw all 3 alignment points out of spec. Remember if you change 1 point, you change them all. And just like how adding ucas when lifted could get your specs back to factory, adding ucas when not lifted could never get your specs back to factory
