And some sweet power wheelie action from the dunes at sand hollow now that my buddy has started going through some footage. IMG_1851.jpg

I know Im going with the 3m 1080 series vinyl and want to stick with some sort of grey or silver. There's a color similar to the cement color from the trd pro that I kinda like as well

I tend to like the matte finishes a lot lately. When the vinyl first hit the scene it got played out in my area. But I've seen a couple jobs lately that have interested me again.

Yeah I won't be ordering for a week or two so I've got a little time to decide. I got color samples a few months ago when I first started thinking about it.

Ain't nobody got time for a real body shop. Even grabbed the can of black and gave the sliders a fresh coat and touched up some spots on the rear bumper. Good enough to wrap over and make even less noticeable.

And for the wrap, I forgot how much I liked the inferno red from the trd pro's so I'm throwing that into the options mix as well. I've narrowed it down to these 4 and found pictures of tacos of that color

Side note from choosing a color, but starting to look more like a race truck.

    IMG_1879.jpg IMG_1882.jpg

But looking like I'm gonna need to add some steel to the bumper to line things up.

Lines up much better when trimmed and bolted up. Just need to trim the bumper to match the new wheel well

90% done but going to wait to do the rest until the truck gets wrapped and I can button it up one final time.

Almost ready to start the wrap tomorrow. Just need to unbolt the front doors and pull rear fenders in the morning.

Well got about 2/3 done before hitting failure with the bedsides. Too curvy and wasted the material on the one that's "done" need to redo. But going to seek more professional advice/ help on finishing up. But loving the color!

Where did you order the wrap from?

I have been looking into this for a while now and looking for some more info.

I ordered it on Amazon. It's 3m 1080 series. I ordered 5x50ft and that is the perfect amount if you don't screw anything up. But from my experience this weekend, I'd get at least 5x60. I'm reordering some so I can redo the rear fenders and have enough to finish up the roof/ cab

Still need to pick up the drivers side rear fender, but other than that, grille is black and everything else is done

I'll get it washed and cleaned up for some better photos maybe next weekend.
