This is exactly what I was looking for info wise.

I was looking at the specs on the Nikon website, but it ends up being all numbers n such. I mentioned to my wife the 7100 body has wireless functions, her answer “oh that’s cool you should get that one.”

Basically if you want to get it to your phone for uploading then in the 7100 you would use a eye-fi card which has wifi built in to it. The 5600 being a newer camera has it built into the body itself. I've never uploaded a photo straight from the camera to anywhere anyway. The only time I see any use for that is if you are shooting models and need to see the image on a bigger screen than the camera has. Now the CLS for the flash I've used the entire time I've had a DSLR and it comes in very handy when I don't want to use radio triggers. Off camera flash with take your photo's to a new level. A flash sitting on top of the camera gives you a flat bright ass image. It says "FUCK YEAH I GOT A FLASH!" Bouncing it is one thing on camera but when you get it off to the side you can make things so much nicer. Also gives you the ability to use umbrella's etc with little cost. So wifi, meh. CLS wireless "HELL YES!".

Sling some abbreviations to her and act like you know what all the cool shit is. She'll let you get the better body. I'd still be using my D7000 if I hadn't moved up to a full frame.

    7100.

Been shooting a D7000 since 2012 and the more advanced body will allow you to grow, learn and use more features when you're ready rather than needing a new body. I started with a D3100 and quickly moved up to the D7000. I'll be going full frame or D500 this year after learning a whole lot on the 3100 and 7000. I'm sure you've heard it a million times already but it's all about the glass!

Going back through a recent photo shoot and looking at old photos. Was initially skipped over because I thought the original picture was kinda bland and boring. I guess it pays off to give things a second look!

Fuji shooter here. Xt1 and Xt2, Lens are the Zeiss 12mm, Fuji 16mm f1.4, 23mm f1.4, 35mm f1.4, 56mm f1.2 and the 50-140mm. Love my Fuji system but do miss my Canon gear.
