In the parking lot we have 4 Tacomas inc. mine. One is brandy new 2018. A new chevy colorado. 3 Jeeps and a Raptor.

Proof that owners of all brands like shitty food.

Middle of Feb.....It's 70 degees, cloudy, wind blowing, light rain, and feels like late April.

Calling for snow flurries tomorrow night.

4" of rain over next few days.

Up @ 1am AGAIN..... Alarm goes off @ 4:30.

Must. Have. Sleep.

 

Went almost 3 days the last stint. That sucks! I can sleep on demand.

 

Ok..."Stop" is good (all new upgraded brakes)

Now we start working on "go". First step will be new spark plugs (89k on current set) Then air filter. Starting research on tune....

Sandy wants to investigate go pro before Moab trip. Gonna leave that in her hands.

She is also asking almost every day "When are we going 4 wheeling again"? She likes this stuff as much as I do!

 

That's why you can't sleep. Minds still movin' in overdrive.

 

That's my "happy place".... With several health issues, constant work related issues, and dealing with life in general.....this truck and what it does is my distraction. The PEOPLE factor of the hobby is a HUGE part of what makes it so interesting. This is fun stuff! .....and far more important to me than some may realize!

Pounding rain at the moment. Truckers having America Idol auditions on CB. And I'm ready to go to sleep. (Finally) .... @ work (for now) Half my crew down with the flu.

Spent the afternoon cleaning 6 bird cages.

18years ago today, about 6:30pm, my dad passed away. Seems like a million years ago. Seems like yesterday. In spite of what some people told me, I never "got over it".

My Dad’s was Feb. 4th. Considering what that man went thru, nothing I’m up against compared.

 

@ work now but that wont last long..... Headed home very soon to change spark plugs. 89k on current set. Runs fine but has to help mpgs...I would think. One of the last details before Moab trip.

OK... I already grabbed a set of NGK plugs last week. Forgot to get a new air filter. So I stop on the way home to get that. Counterboi walks out with wrong filter. After questioning him, he figures out he grabbed the 4 banger filter. Where do they get these people?

Probably from dealers....

Then I pull the plugs. I bought the truck with 50-something thousand miles. Dealer claimed it had a complete tune up before it went on the lot. 147k now. Starting to use more gas, so time for a new tune.

Found 3 NGK and 3 Denso plugs in bad shape.. Never had em changed.

I will be throwing a fit in their showroom later today.

Runs noticeably better.
