    Hi,

Just installed Cooper ST Maxx 255/80/17 and had truck re-aligned.

Had re-aligned at a local shop that does. I thing but alignment. The truck pulled right after installing ST Maxx and also pulls right after the re-alignment.

2018, Stock TRD Sport 4x4 DCLB

    Here are the re-alignment numbers.

So.... back to tire shop or back to alignment shop?

I think there is a poll on this site about this. The highest vote was that these tires pull right.

Thanks, I saw a previous thread on the issue but not the poll. Not sure if anyway to fix or just live with it.

Rotate your tires right to left to see if the pulling changes

The consensus is that it's the tread design. Look at the lugs they are all pointing to the right. It's just an inherent design flaw and due to the lug pattern it's going to pull slightly.

Mine pull ever so slightly, not enough to justify swapping tires though.

I don't see anything in the alignment specs that would indicate a pull. I would check the tire pressure to make sure its all even, specially in the front. If it's off by more than a few lbs, it could be the a contributing cause.

I would also as previously suggested, rotate the tires and see if that helps. Also while the front tire(s) are off the ground, rotate them and see if there's a wave or wobble in between the tread runs and that would indicate a belt separation that can also cause a pull.

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!

Agree with what has been stated. Your caster left to right is not the cause. If anything it should pull left because caster pull to the lower side. In your case that is the left. You typically need more than a 1 degree difference left to right for caster to cause a pull.

Cross rotating the front tires could fix it. Most tire pulls are caused by tire conicity. Cross rotating them is the easiest way. It could make the problem go away or could make your pull go the other way. If it goes the other way, you need to break down a tire and flip it over (assuming you don't have white letters). Still have a problem then you will have to call in a warranty claim. Here is a goo article on conicity - http://www.agcoauto.com/content/news/p2_articleid/181

Agreed with this mine barely pull right however, the lift time alignment eases the mind to ensure that its not a tab issue. Make sure you have the right PSI (I'm running 34 in the fronts and 32 in the back - Load depending) if you have adjustable Coilovers that they are the correct height on each side and properly rotate tires to ensure tread is wearing correctly. Some people have problems others don't
