Any TRD Pro owners recommend any dealers with no “market adjustment” or are able to lower it to MSRP?
    Any general tips?

I got my TRD off road from camelback and the pricing wasn't bad. I'd start there. Why does your name remind me of someone......

    Workin' on it....
    Just as an interesting note.

I was at a Toyota dealership here in Phoenix and I was looking around at their inventory and they had several Tacoma Pros, T4R Pros etc...like a crazy number of them considering they are "rare". So I get to talking to the salesman and I'm like "Wow you have a great selection of Pros on the lot". His response is "They are in such demand that we make them here" -- they get all the badges, leather interior, shift knob, grill, suspension etc. and basically make their own Pro and then sell them for Pro prices. But here is my thing....for all intents and purposes this is a Pro through and through and I'm not arguing that fact - it's got all the guts/parts of a legitimate Pro. My question is, if someone buys this and then goes to sell it, I'm sure the VIN is going to be linked to an SR5 or OR or whatever model they started with because it isn't a PRO VIN so they will need to be prepared to not necessarily have the resale value on the truck that they think they have. Anyhow, end of my rant. I just thought that whole situation was kinda shady.

hmmmm... interesting! The dealership I went to started cranking out quicksand in OR after I told them they were the only ones that had one which was suppose to be rare in this part of the US (there was only 2 in a 150 mile radius when I bought mine). All other dealerships can't even get em except one... but when they pulled up the VIN during the signing of paper work, it was loaded as MGM color in their local system... Not sure if it was a mistake or they painting their own quicksand lol. Either way, the sticker on the door has right paint code on it. Of course a lot of people started going to them and they would not go any lower than the local market value (39,100 vs 38,000 Toyota MSRP).

Did you go to Camelback? I went there the other day and made the same observation.

Ahh, I still haven't even been to the closest dealer to me because they won't match camelbacks parts prices...

Even the Pro's dont always show up as Pros in the vin check (probably in the toyota system, but not the free ones). They show up as SR5. But it would also be a pretty low thing to do by the dealer and would probably get them in trouble with toyota corporate.

I went to this dealership once for one of my free Toyota care services. The whole place seemed shady. I live down the street from them but drive all the way to Camelback if I need something.
