Nice, I like the 255/80/17 setup. What do you think my mpgs would be on a 3rd gen? I'm probably around 18-20 average on my stock wheels and tires. How does the road feel on these in E?

To be honest I have completely forgotten what a stock ride should feel like since I've changed so much on my truck. Ride will be a little rougher, but PSI plays a huge roll. As far as MPG you will probably lose 2-3 MPG, but that's on the high side of estimation.

I'm not as concerned about ride as much. Mainly mpgs, but I know there is always a give and take to get an aggressive tire. I want to avoid a lot of trimming, etc, because I was thinking about 285/70/17. It sounds like 255/80/17 may be another option even with the 58lbs Coopers. I just don't know what would be better...I don't have the money to re-gear

Here's a great thread about third gens running 255s on stock suspension and wheels. I would definitely recommend the 255s
