So I got to try out my new Lincoln Viking 3350 hood today and I LOVE IT!!! How have I welded for the last 3 Years without a nicer hood like this! It’s soooo clear. So comfortable. So awesome!! Way easier to see the puddle

    I love it!

Remember even the best hoods still need the cover plates changed out as needed they degrade to the point the sensors don`t work as well as they should.

Besides not being able to see as well.

Repairing a broken haul truck frame here at work. Several different processes to make all of this come together. One side done off to the other.611C920E-0FC8-424E-AA44-8EC3AD187CF1.jpg

Arc gouging a window in the frame for back gouging repairs and performing an update to prevent it breaking again.

I gotta say I never heard of them either .

Reading the warranty I see a very good clause to wiggle out of most all warranty failures.

If you do decide to drop the money pretty much figure it is a throwaway

Shipping costs to Florida back and forth will get expensive on your nickle.

Look at the Vulcan Line of welders

We Need eyes on the ground to check this place out there has to be someone close .

Yeah, have been looking at the Vulcan for a start, a 3 year warranty through HF is extra!! But it's just down the street...

    Quote of the the night.

"Yeah so when I'm welding inco and watching where I'm going..."

"...you can stop right there. Nobody sees where they're going when welding thin inco".

It's a sonar kind of night. Work day 6 of the week.

Esab 141i just make sure the fan is bolted fast .

Seems the person doing that job was off sick no one else did his job .

Many in the last few weeks

Also know it is not uncommon for parts to take weeks or months to arrive.
