Inner blew? Angle doesn't look all that bad. Unless the boot slide mod really made a difference. Also, why no high angle boots? Those ADSs must really work those boots I would think.

I'm probably gonna blow a CV pretty soon. Where did you get new boots?

The inner did blow, but right at where the inner metal clip clasps against the shaft. These are the boots I got for it...

This is what the boots looked like before they blew...

Replaced old body mount bushings with energy suspension ones.

Also did the linear spring mod for my clutch pedal so no more squeaking and now I don't have to help it up the last half inch.

Nice! This is on my list as well. Looks pretty straight forward...did you run into any snags?

The only issue that I ran into is that you need to remove your fender skirt clips that attach to the body or else they will rip out. I lucked out and caught it in time haha. Also took me a bit to realize that the nut on the bottom of the bolt that doesn't have a washer is welded to the frame. You have to jack up the body then loosen and take the bolt off from the top.

Other than that it is pretty straight forward. Didn't run into anything getting stretched to much.

If someone were to install this without my knowledge I would have no idea anything had changed. Feels pretty much the same. I did it because during wet and cold times, going over bumps I would get the shifting and popping sound that I was pretty sure was the body mounts... Gotta wait and see now.

Curious to see if it goes away too. That's exactly why I want to do this sooner than later.

I need to do both of those. Hopefully a new DD here soon will alleviate the need to rush to get things done

Just rained and it seems the popping is still there... No idea where it is coming from...

Not cool! Mine doesn't really pop, but there's a subtle squeak/rub when coming to a stop or when starting from a stop. Usually happens after it rains or when it's cold out as well. Yours occurs when going over bumps though.

Yeah, well more so bumps at an angle like going up a driveway curb at an angle is when it will always happen.

For what you are describing, the body mounts may help!

I'll have to pay more attention to see if mine does the same. Been trying to drive our old Accord to work more so I haven't been in the truck as much.

It's honestly not that bad, just super messy. One of the C clips on the CV under the boot is what I struggled with the most.

    Doing the carrier bearing next.
