Started working on re-doing the front end today.

In addition to painting the frame, I'm going to install new lower control arm bushings, coilovers, splash guards, paint the wheel wells with bed liner, gusset the spindles, and turn the rotors.

Finished bed-lining my wheel wells, got my gusseted spindles done, and received my new ADS coilovers.

I ordered them through @HeadStrong Off-Road for $1700. They nearly got me $300 off of retail pricing.

That's not terrible. The clickers let you adjust firmness on the fly, correct?

I was finally able to take the truck up a short section of dirt road yesterday, and was absolutely blown away. I've been driving the truck for a week around town with the new ADS coilovers and the ride is much better than the 5100's I had, but by no means amazing on the road. Off road is a different story. They're stupid smooth. To the point where I didn't even think that kind of suspension performance was possible. You can fly across washboard and not feel a thing. I also jumped the truck a few inches over a crest at about 50 mph and landed both front tires into some deep pot holes. The suspension soaked it all up no problem. It didn't just soak it up, it acted like the pot holes didn't exist! The only problem I found is that my brakes can't keep up with the speeds that my suspension now allows. Time for the Tundra brake upgrade, and some ADS shocks in the back.

That's awesome. I don't think I could ever buy cheap suspension again.

I finally got my U bolt flip installed today. Had the parts sitting around for awhile now, just couldn't find the time to install them. It was a little tricky getting the U bolt flip to work with my offset axle plates. I had to plug weld the original centering hole and then re drill it off center. Also had to grind away at the inner part of the bumpstop mount to get everything to line up properly.

Shit I didn't even think about that if I do a u-bolt flip. I'm running the relocation plates too.

Turned out clean and it feels so much better looking at the U bolts and seeing them like this || instead of this //

Thanks man. Yeah I never did like having my U bolts slanted due to my relocation plates. I'm glad they're all good now.

Took the truck out to test the new bumpstops today. The Superbumps are much more forgiving and the added height eliminated the shock rub I was getting when flexed out.

On a side note, boat ramps are sweet burn out spots :headbang:
