It is a separate harness. It's a pre-fabed one though.

They're easy, plug and play if you have factory fogs.
If not... you'll probably want to talk to the others with more experience.

Por wont work well. Not UV Stable. Likely about as bad as bedliner. Rustoleum semi-gloss them or do it right and powdercoat!

Powdercoat something that's 100% guaranteed to get scratched???? ....if used as intended at least.

I've got bedliner and regular rattle can on mine. No chipping yet.
Flap disc-ed all the old PC off my rear bumper, used self-etch primer, then top coat of bedliner. Still on there today. Except the parts of it used to dig out a creek bank in Red River Gorge :anonymous:

And I used the cheap $7/can Rustoleum walfart bedliner.

    Scratches, dents, lots of squeaks.
I used the bedliner on my skids and sliders.

Do not powdercowt if you’re in this climate. Salt eats right through it.

LINE-X is what I’ve found to do the best job.

I beg to differ. I had my sliders done about 4 years back and they have been great. As for scratches, the tops still look perfect. Just hit the underside with Rustoleum as needed.

Maybe they are just the best powdercoaters ever...dunno http://www.vanwincoatings.com/

Semi gloss it is then. I'm not about to unbolt them to get powder coated.

I'm surprised yours aren't welded on. Any issues with the bolts?

Like as far as rust? I don't think so. Everything touching the frame had been sprayed with rust proofing though.

As for the sliders themselves, the bamf bolt on system is super solid. I'm not worried about them going anywhere
