Anyone in the Temecula/murrieta/menifee area

Meets or trail runs? Cause we've had both not too long ago.

 

It was at pizza port in Carlsbad. I’m down to go out on some trials too. Just a little harder to get away right now cause I got my new born son.

 

Gotcha, mine is 2 years old now.

 

I’m going to try to be more active and make it to more meets and runs this year thou. Need to meet some new people.

Kids change everything dont they. Mine is 9 now and I have to tell ya it don't get as easy as it is for you all right now. Wait until they know everything but do nothing. Lol

 

Haha. Ya they do. Got a 4 year old girl and a 2 month old boy now

 

Boys, man they are tough to deal with sometimes.

 

We are very happy we didn't opt for the double trouble. I get it though.... they have someone to grow up with. Single kids tend to cling and suck like leaches.

 

Ya I think 2 might be it for us. Only time will tell thou lol

 

I'm thinking about starting a monthly meet the third Sunday of every month in Lake Elsinore for all of us here in the Menifee Murrieta Temecula area. I've driven there almost every other week and there are some nice Fire Roads that can be easy for beginners or offer challenges if you take the harder line. We can meet at a coffee shop by Lake Elsinore drive up to the top and eat lunch at Lookout Roadhouse. Trail will take 45 mins to the top so it can be nice and quick even if you don't have a lot of time. There are also some trails off of Cajalco Expressway off the 215. But a monthly lunch at Lookout Roadhouse would be a great way for us to meet catch up on what we're doing on our trucks and plan bigger trips

 

Sweet sounds like a good time. I would be down and should be able to make most of em. Let me know what you come up with

 

There are a few of us in the area that meet every Tuesday. Tonight we are meeting at Rodrigo's in Temecula off Winchester Road.

 

Awesome, we just missed the 21st. so the next time will be Feb 18th.

From there, we can take as long as we want. If we just shoot strait up without trying out anything difficult, should only take 30-35mins.

People can meet us anywhere along the route. If you miss us at the coffee shop or the trailhead, you can always meet us for lunch. If anyone is in a rush, they can head off or we can take the trail back down.

 

I'll come next Tues. Is it always Rodrigo's?

 

Menifee here. I use to have this 08 tachoe.....ended up with a 17 taco.

 

@AY_ARONTRD this is your local thread for the area. Maybe ask in here about where to get tires.

 

Anyone know of any good local shops for suspension and tires?
