Wrenching on a slight slope

    My current driveway is sloped down slightly. It’s enough that the truck will slowly roll forward if I let off the brakes in neutral. Chick the wheels, use jack stands, and go for it? Or should I find a flat spot to work?

    Depends on the work. If the rear tires stay on the ground, you have triple-redundancy:
    1. Transmission in gear
    2. Parking brake
    3. Tire chocks

    I have been doing oil changes on my Subaru on a slightly inclined part of the driveway for seven years. It's an automatic so the transmission is in 'P' with the locking prawl. The parking brake works. And the tire chocks are 6" tall urethane:
