Underground was sold to a developer. More apartments and mini grocery stores to come. Just glad the city doesn't own it any more. We aren't good at that kind of thing. Or mass transit.

There is a burger place downtown called Teds Montana Grill and they serve bison burgers! Really good and they have a bar so you could sit and find someone to chat with.

Teds is delicious! I wouldn't get the burger I'd get the Bison Steak. I get it just about every time :hungry:

Need some help finding some N GA camping options. I've searched the GA region forum but didn't find anything specific. Prefer to be in Daholenga to Cleveland area. Drive up style, big enough for 5-6 trucks/tents, primitive is fine, but needs to be near fishing. Last time I went up we found an incredible spot right on Jones Creek, which was awesome, but the fishing was non-existent there. I mean not a single bite over 3 days.

I’m no help for fishing and camping spots. Maybe try Amicola falls (spelling  ) I’m sure there are spots there

Disclaimer, these suggestions are for stream/river trout fishing, not open water. And I’m also drawing from old cobwebbed memories.

Three Forks and Frogtown creek near Hiawassee/Suches/Vogel state park. Some good stuff all around that area. Mostly tributaries, not big water. So be prepared to hike some but it’s fun to hunt for the native species in there.

Sandy Ford, Earls Ford, Sarah’s Creek (and other’s I can’t remember) off of Warwoman Rd in Clayton, GA. Parts of the Chatooga run through there so some deeper more open water options as to get closer to the river.

On the other end of Rabun County you can hit up Tallulah River. It extends all the way into NC.

Edit: I just realized you asked about Daholenga and Cleveland and the options I’ve provided are all further north, sorry about that.

Thank you! Great info. I think we'll try along the Tallulah River. Guy at work camps along there near just south of the NC border and says it is stocked twice a week starting in March, sounds like a great option.

Yea DNR stocks pretty regularly. I did a couple summer interships with Trout Unlimited (in conjunction with DNR/NFS) back in the day and we operated in those areas.
I'm orginally from Rabun too so everything up that way is home to me.

    Have fun!

It is more North, but warwoman and Sandy ford is where my dad's side of the family is.

Used to be up there almost every weekend in the summer, no problem at all catching your limit. At least, if you know the spots

Trey Mountain was fucking amazing. A true off road experience, hit some nasty knarl for sure. A couple of times I hit some nasty rocks under my skid and step rails. Trucks fine!

It did take some time and consideration in picking my line of approaches. On the east side there is a really nasty steel Culvert that has a ripped chunk of steel hanging out of it. So be careful guys and gals.

Wonder what that includes lockers or just gears. I need front and rear gears/lockers!
