Even conversation street got better. Hope season 3 picks up right where season 2 ended. The eboladrome track needs to go, and more car reviews would be nice. But I like all the different filming locations for each episode. At the end of the day these dudes are being paid a ton of money. To drive and talk about cars, but I couldn’t think of a better trio.

Get paid to travel the world, act like a fool and drive some of the coolest cars in the world. Who wouldn't love that job?

Exactly. Even when they're driving beaters, they're basically getting paid to play around and beat on some old junker until it runs into the ground.

Watch through season 2. I agree that Season 1 didn't do much for me, it was forced and too scripted. The buggy special had a couple good moments but is at the bottom of the list for me specials wise. Season 2 bring much improvements but there's still a ways to go. The last several episodes are really good.

    My wants:
    1) Get rid of celebrities entirely
    2) Use that air time to expand on conversation street or something like it.. anything simple that brings more trio dialog and arguing
    3) New track, I agree
    4) Figure out the driver, not the stig, but there needs to be some thought in that imo. The American was terrible the girl is weird every test drive starts with some silly pep talk "Ok, let's go.. Vroooooooom"
    5) More simple challenges during episodes... it doesn't have to be quite so "Grand" eg: Cheap vehicle, travel, best pickup .. the stuff Top Gear was built on.

For those that mentioned it the History channel US Top Gear actually got really good by season 2.5-3. They got rid of celebrities and did some hilarious stuff, the trio actually got pretty good together. It's really enjoyable but you have to watch it enough to get the personalities.. similar to when someone starts watching TG. It takes a while to understand the roles.

Some of the best early episodes:

Season 1 Ep 9 - America's toughest truck (Awesome 4 wheeling in Alaska)
    Season 2 Ep 4 - Death Valley
    Season 2 Ep 9 - Big Rigs
Season 2 Ep 12 - Continental Divide (Mini vans over the rockies)

I liked the Death Valley challenge, but was surprised by the ending. Tanner must have really been wailing on that CJ7 to have run out of fuel before the Blazer. We had a CJ for a farm truck when I was a kid and it averaged 17-18mpg's. The only reason I could think of would be if the Blazer had dual tanks or something.

I enjoyed TG U.S. on the History Channel. It's the new one that BBC rolled out I wasn't a fan of

I liked US Top Gear but I was a fan of Formula D so I knew of Tanner already. They were an interesting group together but Tanner was the only professional driver.

Clarkson, Hammond, & May aren't professional drivers either, but they've got chemistry. The Stig actually came about from the fact that none of the presenters were able to put down consistent fast lap times so they had to hire a pro.

    Fair.
There's a lot of editing that goes into each of their road tests, but I agree that on the average they're definitely better drivers than Adam or Rutledge. Even Hammond.

I did like the editing video of Jeremy and his Gymkhana take. That was hilarious.

That would be pretty funny. Either that or have him on as a guest with Perry McCarthy (the original 'black' Stig).

They could do a 'fastest man whose former job title rhymes with wig' theme for the guests for that episode.

I still think they should have F1 drivers go head to head.

Sorry I should have mentioned in my previous post that I watched Season 1 already. Season 2 is where I'm just not into it. I watched up to the Jaguar episode.

Anyone heard if there’s a season 3? If so when it’s scheduled to start?
