nice, i wouldnt imagine much trouble for your car.

no i havent come across one yet but im not driving the car much right now. its cold out and a non-working blower motor sucks dick.

went to get the car tinted today and the guy suggested stripping and deep cleaning the car then come back. so another thing for the summer.

sometimes i hate this car. went to put radiator brackets on to actually hold it in place, rad cap smashes hood then... :bananadead: proceed to cut hood skeleton. still need to do a clearance check with playdoh or something though.

ordered autopower 4pt race roll bar and 2 g-force 5 pt harnesses as well.

Edit: passed the playdoh clearance test. relocated fuel filter to the firewall so now my fuel lines look semi-decent. still wouldnt mind getting AN lines made though eventually.

floor mats and harnesses arrived. a little disappointed in the "smoke" color. i should have gotten black like i had originally thought, ill probably dye them when i do the carpet

Did a permanent thing... bolted on the power steering pump and then proceeded to cut a hole in the hood for the pulley to clear (common swap issue unless using a jackson racing supercharger pulley which i cant find). its not a clean cut by any means :bananadead: but i did clean it up some from this pic

yeah something like that may be a possibility. Ktuned offers a power steering relocate bracket but its $250 and i wasnt quite feeling like dropping that. Im not even sure theres enough room for that.

figured at this point id rather get it working first then worry about the details. it does give me an excuse for a carbon hood if i do relocate it at least. wouldnt have cut the hood either if i had a garage for the car. just didnt want it sitting outside with the hood open (i taped some plastic over the hole for now)

going to try something like this. seems like an easy enough idea from s2ki, just cut out the empty pocket of the hood. the s2k hood does have nice shapes for this comparably though

integra hood (red is the culprit area):
    DA9 hood - Copy.jpg

edit: cutting a flimsy metal hood sucks donkey dick. i ordered a seibon oe style cf hood. either the pulley will clear or ill try to relocate the pump with K-Tuned kit

Yeah, that area highlighted in red would look odd. That S2000 does pull it off though, pretty cool idea.

found the jackson racing power steering pulley #052-154. it has a smaller diameter and was being used for specifically clearing hoods. so i placed an order and it should be here this weekend. :fingerscrossed: that it works like i need it to

power steering pump now clears the hood :woot:
also had the radiator cap/fill relocated meaning i wont have to cut the cf hood at all when it arrives.

still need to figure out the power steering lines. the pressure line i think i need to get remade since it doesnt look long enough.

cleaned up the brake booster vac line as well. just small things

would ya look at this..i got the pressure line to magically fit. its not stretched super tight but a couple more inches in length would have been nice. (thats what she said)

just need to figure out where to put the reservoir

just realized the oem one has outlets at different angles so if i get one of them i should be able to make it fit in the original spot. of course a part i threw away like 8 months ago...hello ebay
