    For SALE

I've decided to sell this fantastic trailer, life has made changes and I have to adapt.
I had so much fun building this rare find of a military relic, a great M100 trailer for sure.
Today with telescoping rack fully raised and tent open:

Here is how I found it:

    Details:
    1952 Strick Co. M-100
1/4 ton weight class, weight ~565lb unloaded
Original data plates - completely legible
Original military grade pintle and lunette system - fully functional
OD green beneath the current black bed-liner
[Original lights, wiring harness, hardware, axle and 3 wheels/tires optional]

    Upgrades:
Upgraded Dexter 3500lb axle with electric brakes
CVT Mt Shasta Pioneer Extended on telescoping Thule rack
Replaced worn out shocks with upgraded Monroe shocks
Thule Xporter 442xt aluminum telescoping bed rack attached via uni-strut channel [works with most bed rail attachments, inside and outside trailer bed]
Coiled safety chains and safety hooks, so no dragging or getting snagged
11lb propane tank with locking bracket on front of trailer
Two leveling bubbles for accurate level on any terrain
    Upgraded 3-mode LED tail lights
Two steel platforms [on either side] for top access or jerry can/misc storage
    CVT Awning 55"
Two solar motion lights on sides - 4 modes
1000lb trailer jack - tall and dual wheels
7pin trailer electrical - loomed and routed through frame
Heavy duty tarp cover - 5x7
Two locking Jerry can mounts, on inside of trailer

    Trailer maintenance:
    All zerk fittings greased regularly
    Springs cleaned and treated
Trailer body - no rust no rust holes
Lunette greased and spring fully functional
Undercarriage: bed liner on frame and body
All electrical loomed and heat sealed [ recently upgraded brake lights again]
All hardware upgraded with Grade 8
Wheel spacers to fit larger tires if necessary [currently Toyota bolt pattern]

    Tent upgrades
Comes with vestibule with mosquito netting and 4 zipping doors
    Never used rubber floor
Upgraded to Sea to Summit Buckles from Velcro
Upgraded 5in memory foam mattress with waterproof zipping/washable cover
    Multi position ladder

    Notes:
    Foxwing can be included
Prefer to keep tent with trailer
Current Toyota Wheels/Tires negotiable - have steelies on the trailer now
Can manually raise tent [my wife and I did this]
Have been able to use a scissor jack with ease, less than 3 minutes to raise tent with drill
*Includes two 24" 5000lb scissor jacks and adapter

Story: My wife and I built this and towed it from Atlanta to the beautiful South West for a 3 week vacation.
It handled everything Moab and the West could throw at us, it even floats.

If you want a fantastic easily towed and tracking trailer, this is for you.
Great for overlanders, adventurers, and those that just love calling it Camping, family trips or weekend fun.
I have no regrets with this trailer, it's just awesome.
*Tent raise to easily accommodate 6ft tall folks, I'm short at 5,6 and have no problems raising or lowering the tent
Tows so well behind my Tacoma, track width is the same.

    Price Lowered:
    $6300 OBO

{I am working at Expo East 2018 and can tow to the event if needed]

Wow. What a difference. Did the 3rd gen wheels mount up to the military axle just fine?

I added some wheel spacers to allow for larger tires and the Toyota bolt pattern.

Interesting, they make wheel spacers that converts the military lug spec to the standard 6-lug on Toyotas?

He said he added a DEXTER 3500 lb axle. That a 5 lug axle. Original axle was 1/4 ton.....That's 500 lbs. Wasn't up to the task....
