I sure like my OME kit; (F)90021 w/888 springs / (R)60091 shocks with
    CS047R Dakar leaf packs.

Re: I'm looking at Cooper ST and ST Maxx. I wish there were more options available in the 16" - 255. like the K02. May have to look into a 17 inch rim and go 255/80/17..I think there are more options w/tires

I just installed the full OME kit (90021 shocks and 888 springs), SPC UCAs, and light duty dakars also from Headstrong offroad. Haven't decided on 255 vs 285 tires. Please post photos of your mounted 255s and let me know what you think.

Sorry, this is probably the better place to ask this question:

Hows everyone trimming their fender flares on 3rd gens? 255's will rub there. my KM2's are reasonably clear of the cab mount and I'm sure they will rub the cab mount stuffed. Was going to trim the inside of the fender flares this week, would be cool to see some pics.

I haven't had any issues. Most people go with this size so they don't have to cut

    Hi Guys,

Currently getting terrible rubbing when at 75% wheel lock with 255/85/16 Cooper ST MAXX mounted on the stock TRD OFFROAD wheels. I have a 2" lift in the front and JBA UCA's that need a 4.5" backspace. I had 1.25" spacers laying around, so I mounted to see if it would clear the UCA and it does. But now im about a 1/8" from my cab mount at any angle of turn. Is WOuld getting correctly backspaced wheels solve this issue or will I need a cab mount chop?

Went to the local alignment shop. Driver: -.02 Camber, 3.0 Caster (which JBA says is correct on their instructions) and toe of 0.03. Passenger: 0.4 Camber, 3.3 Caster, and toe of 0.05.

did you get an alignment after changing to this size? I only got my alignment after putting on a new suspension.

I don't believe anyone who says there's no rubbing. I get rubbing on any slight bump with my wheels turned slightly. and full stuff is not even an option. I have fox 2.5s with dirt king UCAs and about 0,0,2.5 on my front alignment.

My tire that you see above in the pictures (Bighorns) didn't rub AT ALL. I cannot off the top of my head remember the settings, but you should not be having any issues.

I got my alignment after the tires were installed. I didn't have ANY aftermarket suspension systems installed. Factory wheels, factory everything. I even checked at full lock after the alignment. Id say go get another alignment for the tire size

I got an alignment after mounting the tires. I guess my question now is if I rub with spacers, would I rub with correctly backspaced wheels.

If your wheels push the rim the same distance as the spacers (aka going from 1.25 spacer and 5" bs to 3.75 bs) It acts exactly the same. I'd recommend doing a lot of measuring.

Thanks for the info! I was hoping based on all the input I've seen that I wouldn't have terrible rubbing or require a cab mount chop. this lift and bigger tires game blows...

the.site.picture Just a note to say the BFG KM runs truer to size like a Toyo MT. A lot of size discrepancy between lines.
