Thanks @Hoangde for the solutions. I really want to do #1. Where are you located? Will PM you for more details.

Another question I have: is it possible to put the front camera on the rear anytime switch and toggle between front and rear? Could this be an option to keep the music (FM/XM) on at the same time?

    Thank you,
    Paul

I have been reading a number of these threads and believe that is possible. I was planning to contact OP about just such a harness as I'd like to do exactly that, by using a DPDT switch (figure I'll need custom screen print to show FRONT/REAR. I believe if it is done correctly, you can have the anytime camera (with selection) as well as normal reverse action. I have delayed my request, because I haven't decided if I really care about the anytime NAV or the extra AUX connections.

Thanks for your input. Yeah, I also read something about tapping into pin 24 or 28 for this. I don't mind soldering into the correct wire, but need a schematic to ensure I get the correct wire. As for me, I'm with you; no need for anything else, however, I've found that the front camera is a blessing when off-roading. Cresting those hills and making tight turns are a breeze with the front camera...and this is coming from a dual cab, long bed owner...

Yes. Without some additional mods, turning the front camera on will turn off other sources.

Question... Where are you all getting the USB power from, to power up devices? My truck only has one USB connector... Are you adding USB ports?? if so, would you please post pictures, as to how?
    Thank you,

That is kind of off topic for this thread.

I used one similar to this:
    https://www.amazon.com/MICTUNING-Charger-Digital-Voltmeter-Smartphone/dp/B077P7GYG6/

The exact one that I bought doesn't seem to be available anymore. You should verify that this linked one will fit.

The thing that I found is that the stock USB outlet only puts out 0.5A. Not useful for charging anything.

To power my outlet, there is a ground point right behind the HVAC panel. I found a constant power connector while probing behind the drivers side kick panel. For keyed power, you can tap the back side of the power outlet. See my posts earlier in this thread for that. I used that to power my front camera. Be careful if you use the power port for USB power if you plug other stuff into it. I believe it is good for 15A total?

So, you can power with 12V direct from the battery using the switch on the link (fused) but this could drain your battery as it would be constant ON. or keyed power so it is only ON when the key is the on position to save the battery. correct?
i am looking in to the switch of the link you posted and seems like it would work.. Thanks a lot..
