What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Love buying cheap trailers and fixing them up. i have made a bunch of money off of doing it. purchased a 20 year old 6x14 dual axle enclosed trailer for $200, slapped new lights and paint and sold it for $1800. $1400 profit, i'll take it. also got a really good deal on a solid build 5x10 for $450, used it for 3 years and made a bunch of money with it, and then sold it for $900 to get my current 6x12. love messing with trailers.

Finally got around to doing the rear diff breather mod. Put it behind the tail light. Also relocated my trailer plug. Old one was destroyed.

 

wrapped dash in carbon fiber, did not like the tacky silver . it was more work than expected .. LOL isn't it always.

 

how did you do that?

 

Since it never snows here anymore, I have not. I'll have plenty of chances this summer, though.

From personally seeing the amazing movement of secure objects during accidents, I'd use bolts with large washers on the backside. It's amazing the force that's applied to objects when a 4K lb. vehicle has a collision, not to mention rollovers.

 

Me too. The downside is, it's a bitch to get out of your pocket if you get car jacked! The above is a very handle/quick option, just needs beefing up. I plan to make my own similar to the Alien Gear one. Btw, I've used several of their holsters and think they're a best bang for your buck.

I just got these in the mail that @08yoter made. These back seat grab handles are pretty dang cool.

 

I like my bushwacker fenders, they came with the XPS-S kit. To keep it white just get them color keyed.

Check out this link. Gives you another option, but you can just get a molle holster, and if you ever remove it you still have plenty of uses for the mounts.
