This is a placeholder for future Musterground Road exploratory runs.

Musterground Road is located in South Carolina, accessed through the Bad Creek Duke Energy site.

This is a seasonal road partially maintained by the South Carolina DNR. Open dates are:

    March 20th - May 10th
    Sep 15th - Jan 1st

OpenStreetMap view of the Bad Creek/Musterground Rd area from the SC side, as well as the Gorges State Park and game lands from the NC side. (cross-posted in the CMR thread for reference)

Definitely in for when it opens. Getting boring on just the HP road.

I'm also ready to hit the upper end of Bob's creek rd sometime. May do that next weekend.

Bob's creek? It's pretty much just a dirt and gravel road. I think the 2nd exit into NC on 25n or maybe 26.

I'm wanting to go off the beaten path next weekend somewhere. Was thinking of Chestnut again but explore some of the side trails and maybe go further than we did previously. But this sounds somewhat interesting as well.

Oh he'll, it would be absolutely boring compared to CM.

I may forego the trip to CMR next weekend in favor of doing this run on the 24th, but we'll see. Might be able to swing both.

Looking at a potential run this Saturday April 7th. Probably wouldn't be terribly early, maybe noon-ish, depending.

Not me, not with AOP next weekend, but I do want to get up there before it closes until Fall. Maybe 28th, but more likely the 5th.
