I put stickers for more horse power!
Those spring leafs look stronger than stock ones. Whats the improve with them? Do they give you lift without using a block?

Those look to be the standard Dakar’s without the extra leaf. Mine lifted my back end up more than 2” over the weak ass OR springs that came on the truck. Some of that is because the stack is so high. Now 600 lbs in the back will maybe drop it down a inch. I probably have had a ton sitting on top of them and am still impressed.

So you had weight in the bed and still those springs lifted the truck 2”?

These are heavy duty Dakars and we achieved over 2" of lift and that was with a plate bumper on the back and a bunch of heavy gear in the bed.

Oops. I didn’t realize that OME had changed from the old CS047R model to EL095R that they have now. I was doing a apples and oranges comparison. Used to be that the “heavy duty” was the regular pack with the added leaf. Does that pack have the extra leaf added.

How many inches of lift are they supposed to give in an empty bed?

You'll be good. Just pick your days. Do you normally stay in the northern part of the Bay? Carolina Skiffs are great boats. Very tough and stable as hell.
