My HIKARIs are not vertical and the beam appears fine to me. I noted that after my tests. The avg Joe looking for an improvement to the stock halos will be completely satisfied.

@Parker315 so your Hikari crees sit the same way? Meaning slightly off from correct orientation? I’ll still try them I have them in hand..plus how often are we using high beams anyhow...doesn’t bug me...

Not sweating 11 degrees. Would have been ok with both at 11. That 35 got under my skin. Easy fix. All good. Changed prior posts. Very easy fix. Did not drive tonight but look great across back yard. Really should have been correct when delivered. Such an easy fix. Should have fixed as soon as saw the issue. Others state beam pattern ok but just feel better with better alignment.

I'm glad you pointed out the diffiecncy, because without it I wouldn't know I can correct it to attain the best output possible. I think everyone can benefit from the experience.

Would it be possible for you to post a pic of what part of the bulb assembly you're putting a hole in? Thanks.

Yes sir. Exactly... the original Hikari sot the same way. If you want to disassemble your light and drill a hole in them than that issue can be resolved occurring to @mrproduxn though.

Nice work on your part man. Let us know if they are of long term now

Not sure if that’s something I’d take the time to do, but some others might.

Here's a little something for those of us with lot's of electrical upgrades. I'm only using 4 of the 12 slots so far, but I've got three more slots worth of mods sitting in my basement. The plate came from Pelfreybilt, and the breaker and aux fuse panel are Blue Seas.

Dude that's awesome!! I keep my wiring pretty neat, but this would help out a ton. Can you post links to the purchase of everything seen in the photo??

That's good news, @mrproduxn! I'm glad you fixed the angle of the that bulb and that it didn't seem like it was too difficult to do. I have a feeling that it will be an issue with any bulb that we put in the HBs (that does not have an adjustable collar)...so we may need to reference your 4.5-step approach. :D

OO, nice! I've just been relying on lots of zip ties for the wiring to my bed lights & stereo system. I might have to go this route if I end up adding any more lighting or gadgets. :p

Are these the cree or Philips Hikari’s? I’ve seen some with a black cap/hat at the end and then there are these...54B962AA-3B8C-410C-82E4-3E4C89881DF4.jpg

Should say Lumiled above the led if it’s Phillips.

Looks exactly like my Hikari Philips. That little screw is in the collar hole I moved on mine to make it align at 3 and 9 o'clock in passenger high beam. Just popped out the 2 screws and slid off the collar, drilled, re-installed.

Those are the Philips. The cree LEDs look like bug eyes:

    @Parker315 @mrproduxn

What do you think about the sanctity of the harness connection with respects to water? I’m going to mount it so that the harness curves and water does not run into any of the harness connections, rather drips off the wire radius, but should I take any extra precautionary measure to protect like wrapping in electrical tape or putting a rubber boot around all junctions that mate from oem harness to Hikari?

Second question, how easy is it to get to the fogs or what’s the best way? Should I remove the grill and go that way or crawl under the front from the bottom. Either way is ok by me unless one method is harder than the other...I prefer easiest way obviously.

And when moving the resovoir tank are you guys removing the whole tank or just undoing the couple hex screws and tilting it back for the passenger side which I haven’t gotten to yet. I don’t want to spill the washer fluid.

No worse than stock in my opinion. Fogs are very simple without removing anything except bezels. Can reach everything from the top.

So I went thru this whole thread and despite headlight revolution giving the Gtr lighting and Supernova’s H11’s led’s bulbs the best review. I don’t see many here purchasing or reviewing these two. Is the price really the factor or am I missing something?

First disregard anything I may have said negative yesterday about Hikaris. Had a heavy flow day yesterday. They are great.
