On a related note, anyone interested in a Mavic Air controller, 2 batteries, charger, and case?

I’ve got a brand new in the box Wizard X220s I’d sell if anybody is interested. It comes with the remote... Was going to get into FPV but realistically I’ve got so many hobbies going right now that it’ll probably just continue to sit in the corner like it has been.

Can’t they plug those coordinates in to google earth and see that there is nothing in the vicinity of that area to crash in to?

You would think, but then they would have to admit they were wrong, or that it must have been a bird, or a plane, or f'in Superman maybe.
Good idea. I used PayPal and withdrew from my bank account, but I just opened a claim with them. Unfortunately they go the eBay route of "try to work it out with the other party first", so I had to send a message to DJI telling them (again) that I want a refund and will send back the now useless accessories once I have a refund.

Next step if everything is denied is to go to the press. Say, Ars Technica, or something.

@AeroCooper You arn't thinking clearly. You need to man up and spend another $1200 on a Trident. You then use it to retrieve the Mavic Air.

That's awesome. Yes indeed, I was standing on that bridge watching the drone, in clear line of sight with nothing even close to 'crash' into as I was ascending the drone.

Can someone be able to tell me the total weight of the Mavic air with the fly more combo in it's factory bag?

    Mavic air with one battery
    Controller
    2 sets of extra blades
    2 extra batteries
    Charger
    Carrying bag

I travel to Europe for a month at a time and I have to carry it in my backpack nearly every day so shaving any weight/volume is crucial.
I can only find the shipping weight but not the packed weight.

    Thanks in advance!

    According to DJIs website:
Takeoff weight of the DJI Mavic Air: 490g
    Intelligent flight battery: 140g x 2 extra batteries = 280g
Controller: couldn't find actual weight but lets call it 350g
Charger: couldn't find actual weight but lets guesstimate 200g
2 sets of props: couldn't find actual weight but lets say 10g for all 8
Carry bag: No idea, maybe 454g?

    Total weight: 1784g ~ 4 pounds.
