Does the RCItransfer case skid interfere with BAMF bolt on sliders?

I have RCI front IFS and transmission skids. I’m gonna get the RCI transfer case skid plate and some BAMF sliders soon. My question is, will any of the RCI armor interfere with the sliders? Can I run RCI skid plates with Bamf sliders?

 

JUST found out the RCI transfer case skid isn’t compatable with Mobtown bolt on sliders. ***EDIT:they do, see post #7*** I know this may not help your specific cause but thought I’d give you a bump and maybe help others that are searching for both of our questions.

 

That sucks, sorry to hear about that. Thanks for replying. I thought maybe I was over thinking it but obviously there is some validity to my question. I live close enough to BAMF (1.5 hours) to stop by and see for sure. If I can make the BAMF transfer case plate mate up with the RCI trans skid, I’ll go that route.

What are you going to do?

 

Well, I marked the RCI crossmember and had plans to take it work and blast a notch out with a plasma cutter. But, I think I didn’t have my sliders positioned correctly when I originally posted they won’t work together. I’m taking a break for lunch and will post final results later.

Edit: I already jumped the gun and removed the skid.

 

Our sliders wrap the bottom of the frame so you will need to modify somthing. Or just double stack them with the sliders on first that's how you install our trans skid just double stack them and drill the slider and the frame .

 

I don’t have a 100% because I am out of shape and the install kicked my ass, I didn’t attempt to reinstall my transfer case skid. But after moving my sliders back some, I feel real good about them actually working together.
Oh yeh, don’t try to put you fuel skid on with a full tank, the bands bulge and the studs won’t line up.

 

Wow, I can’t believe it took me a month to finally get all my armor put on/back on. For what it’s worth, my mobtown sliders are 100% compatable with my RCI skid plates, front-transmission-transfer case. Also my aluminum pelfreybilt fuel tank skid did not interfere with my RCI rear dif skid. Soooo, glad everyone is playing nicely together!

 

Reviving some old stuff I am in the same situation BAMF sliders looking to get rci skids and see if they match up.

 

Bump. I have a DCLB with RCI IFS and Transmission skid. Have BAMF sliders on order and want to add the transfer case skid. Anyone actually try this combo yet?

I dont know if its 100% compatible, but in my research its always better to go all the way with 1 company or the other. Most aren't compatible between each other. I am from Colorado so RCI is my choice, but due to covid, I have to wait for the showroom/local pickup to open cause I save so much in shipping going that route. If you call either company they'll probably say no they don't fit together, but it's worth asking. Maybe they can email the installation pdfs & you can check

Doing a full RCI skid package tomorrow, I have mobtown sliders. What did you end up doing to make it work?

 

I can confirm that the RCI transfer case skid crossmember is 100% compatible with BAMF sliders. There is zero interference.
