Great video. I've considered both of those and it's great to see a side by side. One thing that has pushed me away from the Currie style decorators is the possibility of damaging the valve core when it gets pulled. Then you're in a rush to replace it and refill the tire to the correct PSI. Then again, Ive also heard reports that the EZ deflators sometimes have a problem staying consistent and it's good practice to double check your tire pressures. That adds to your times.

These are good points. I mentioned toward the end that one of the deflators on the Tacoma went down to 15 even though it was set for 18. Not sure if the extreme temps played into that or not but the other 3 on the truck did fine.

I've used both as well. I'll be buying a Currie to replace my ez deflators i have now because they are too eratic when it comes to deflating to the set psi. Sometimes they are somewhat accurate, but other times they can be way off.
I prefer the accuracy of the Currie.

    Nice vid!

Yes, the automatic deflators are handy, i used to use them to start deflating and then go around and finish with another deflator so i can see the pressure.

I tried a cheap eBay set and i couldn't adjust them low enough to even start to deflate with my tires at 35-40.

I got a set that looked identical but cost more and they worked. But i set them for 15 & 18. They are not consistent and easy to accidentally adjust how they are set. I left them on while looking for a camp spot in Moab and i ended up with about 3psi on one tire.

Now i have my inflator for the OBA that fills two tires at once, and also deflates two at once which works great.

Yeah let me know what you think! Those look a little different. I like the color.

I've been using the trailhead deflators for a couple of years now. I love them and have no complaints. They are a bit of a pain to set. To get them tuned in to where you want them you have to fill the tire again and start all over. If there's not enough pressure in the tire it won't pop the spring to start the deflation process. Once you get them set they're great. Haven't had to do any adjustments on them in over 3 years and they always deflate to the same psi I set them on.
