So I went ahead and decided I wanted to keep some things dry and out of sight at the same time. Went with an access vanish tonneau cover, installed it and found out that it needed to sit more flush.......so I started cutting.

    B60D34C0-B41A-4CBC-9A4A-DF99CC1DFE1D.jpg

After getting it in location I went ahead and scribed some cut lines and then tore it back apart.

The RCI bed rack mounts stick into the bed by roughly half an inch.

Still need to add just a tab bit of weather stripping on the transition points where the rack mounts meet the tonneau rails, I am pretty happy with it though.

    Pretty happy with the outcome.

Access 95279 is the part number for the tonneau cover for the 6’ bed.

Nice job! I too have a tonneau cover/bedrack combination. Pretty great for keeping stuff dry

@bsp_taco What tonneau cover and rack do you have? I'm trying to find the best solution to use with an Access Literider.

I run @KB Voodoo rack with tonneau brackets (I'd link it but I don't want to cause confusion to the original post) and a Tygerauto tri-fold. I don't need to fold it back, it doesn't matter because I cannot fold it back. I am not sure if the literider will be able to roll all the way back to the cab with the rack/brackets. They'd know better than I would. The rack is great, love it, no issues for the 4 months I've owned it  I live in Portland and the combination keeps 95% of the rain and all snow out of my bed.

Looks great! This motivated me to pull the trigger on the RCI rack to try with the Access Literider. I'll post photos once the rack arrives and is installed.

That looks awesome. Exactly the set up that I am looking to achieve. I currently have the Extang Solid Fold 2.0 (an OK cover), but I am looking at replacing it. I really like the RCI Bed Rack.

similar idea to what I did with the CBI and Access Original tonneau. Nice work!

I mounted my tonneau to the rack with some nuts and bolts and then siliconed between the two. Love having dry/hidden storage with the rack

I've sorta narrowed my choices down to the CBI or the RCI, with access vanish, and am curious how you mounted the cover with the CBI full length rails?

Take a look a this pic in my build thread.

I pulled the foam off the back of the tonneau rails and put a bead of silicone between the tonneau and CBI rails. Then drilled a few holes and bolted the tonneau rails directly to the CBI rack. So the cover is attached 100% to the rack versus to the truck now

Thanks for the write-up OP. Just got an RCI rack and RTT and wanted to find an option for a tonneau. Do you know if the Tyger tonneau would also fit or did you choose the roll up version because that was the only option that we can run with this RCI one

@sd1uh8as this is what I was talking about. Gonna have to modify mine a bit to fit the RCI rack.

Went with the roll up because I knew I could make it work. There might be other that will work, went with what I knew I wouldn’t cause me issues.

No worries, I ended up ordering the access cover yesterday. Going to try and install it next weekend. Can you do me a huge favor? can you measure clearance for height with the tonneau on? I have a feeling it would be clocking in at around 18 inches or so.
