Center Bearing Part Number

    Does anyone know the Spicer part number for the center bearing on a 4WD truck? (I think all Tacomas use the same bearing - 1995 to present.)

    I have a part number 5002334 bearing, which looks to be the correct part, but molded into the rubber is "4x2".

    I have searched the internet, including Dana/Spicer's site, all to no avail.

    I ordered the part from Drivetrain America, a Spicer dealer, and even they cannot determine the correct part number.

    That is the one I have - mine has "4x2" on it, and I am 4x4.

    I wonder if there is any difference? I seriously doubt it, but want to verify.

    Did this CB work out for you? I am about to buy it on Amazon (

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GAPFESW) but the reviews are conflicting. I've got a 4x4 and I just want to make sure this is the right one. I use my truck for work so if I take my driveshaft out and its the wrong part I'll be up shits creek.

    I have not installed it yet. I will probably get to it next month.

    There is another part number for a CB that is supposed to be for 4x4 trucks. I don't have the number with me at work - I will have to get it.

    I am on the fence - considering getting the "correct" part.

    But I am not really sure there is a difference.

    I just broke down and ordered the OEM CB for almost $200...Part #
    $140 37230-0K030 Center Support Bearing Assembly

    Caled my friend that is a mechanic and he said to go OEM if I wanted to never deal with this again. It should last the life of the truck. Original one lasted 10 years and 130k

    I’ve been searching for a vendor who carries the spicer flavor of this CB and have been striking out. Anyone had better luck recently?

    EDIT:
    Doing the u-joints next week and am debating replacing the CB while I’m in there.

    I bought the Spicer CB off ebay. Verify the PN to make sure you get the right one as the PN is different for 2WD and 4WD. There are several more recent threads with the PN and more info
