I crawl on paved or gravel road so looking for some lightly snow cover road, maybe quarter to half an inch....

Barely made it out alive in a pack mall parking lot after breaking a bead on the water run off... had to use my power tank to air back up... Scared me for a bit there since darkness was coming...

Any recommendations tire shop to mount n balance in town? I got quoted about $100 - $120 for all 4 at couple of places

 

I had some expensive 3 piece volks and tires mounted at performance tires on clovis near kings and they have some of the best machine in town for no damage but I think they went out of business. There's a small shop on fowler between shields and clinton, a few buildings away from the Armory that have good price. Their machine is regular, nothing fancy, but their price was the cheapest I found two years ago when I was trying to balance my 35. I end up paying 30 buck instead of 60+ elsewhere.

If you call well known company such as les schwab, discount tires, etc they'll charge a lot cause they do "quality" (yea right) work. Other then that, drive up and down Belmont, someone bound to mount/balance them for cheap.

 

Anyone have a steelie or rim 17" 6x5.5 laying around and willing to donate to a good cause (put to use) or sell? A buddy it looking for 1.
