Hello, I just bought a 2018 Tacoma Off-Road TRD Access Cab truck and I would like to beef up the look of the tires. I cannot go with a lift kit, otherwise my dealership told me I run the risk of voiding the warranty, so I thought what about spacers. Installing spacers may also void the warranty. Ford are putting large tires on their stock trucks. I have already gone with the slightly bigger tire but is that all I can do without voiding the warranty?
    Thanks

It won’t void warranty... the only warranty it’ll void is the suspension since well... your changing the suspension out for a lift kit. Per law, you are covered unless a modification directly caused the part that is warranted to fail.

3" lift, 17" rims with BFG Mud Terrain 33's, ARB skid plate, cb radio, cow catcher front, n-fab rails/steps (I'm short)
Am researching the same thing on my 2018 Tacoma SR5 4WD double cab. Toyota says lift has to be done at their service dept or warranty voided. Most Toyota will put on is a 3" lift with spacers (say they "won't do" a suspension lift). Service said the lift kit/parts they use is called "Traxx"....never heard of it, hence not happy about that. They said I could purchase a kit elsewhere and bring it in for them to install, but then what if they say "well "x" part caused this or that, warranty voided".
Also want to move to 17" rims with BFG 33's after lift install.
Yes, I'm a girl, yes, I actually take it offroad, go ahead and rip on me...but curious to hear helpful advice if anyone is willing to give it...thanks from Phoenix AZ

Sooooo . . . just get new tires??? You can do a lot of things without a lift just to beef up the look . . .
