I have a chance at a set of dakar elo95r with 5000km on them for $250. Bushings were squeaky so the guy got new springs under warranty and new bushings. 2 sets of new bushings are included.

Im wondering what else i will need to install them?
I currently have icon aal w/ overload and ome 90021 shocks.

Could i use the u bolts from the icon kit with the dakars?

Trying to gauge how much it will end up costing me to put these in. Money is a little tight for the truck right now since i bought ome 885s and new ucas last week.

Take a look at the compression/extended length of the shocks you have. It should fit, but worst case scenario, your shocks may limit droop. The u-bolts from the AAL kit should also fit since they're longer than stock. If not, it's less than $30 for new ubolts.

I know im good for shocks since the ones i have come in the full kit with dakars.

Ive read about issues with driveline vibes requiring shims or cb drop. If i decide to pick these up, which would be preferable or is there no difference?

Sounds like a smoking deal. You shouldn't have any issues installing them.

Having just installed Dakars, I am experiencing the drive line vibrations and plan to do the CB drop, but need to look into the axle shims to see if that is a better route to go.

Get new ubolts. You don't want to reuse them, though you can but their cheap so it's dumb not to. Wait on the cb drop and shims until after the install since most don't get vibes. Make sure to take your driveline angle measurements prior to install so you can reference them if you do get vibes.

I have the cb drop and 3* axle shims. No vibes. Still a great deal if you factor all that stuff in.
