I need one, but  I can not afford the switch panel and fuse block to get more accessories running right now. Same with the reason I wont be doing any ditch lights or other awesome HP adding lights for sometime.

    Budget be all :lalala:

Just run the cb off a cigarette lighter accessory and plug it in inside the truck and run coax to the back, very easy. Ive ran mine like this in my jeep and tacoma and never had an issue

Or it can be done with a portable CB, like I run on my truck, can just put batteries in it and it lasts all summer.
Mine is an older 38 model, but new one looks even better.

    :dancingbacon:

P.S. you can do add a fuse as well for the CB radio, our wipers have too much amps (I think around 30), I added 12v usb charger at the back by tapping to them. Try that, that was on 15 model.

You guys are right, I need a CB. When I am at my buddies tonight taking the sway bar off, and hooking up a toggle switch to the TPMS light, I am going to get him to help me figure out exactly what I need to do to get one wired in. I thought they were more expensive, once I looked at Amazon I realized I can get one :cookiemonster:

Ill put a coolio firestik on my rig and get something like this

Then I can shit talk you all constantly. :D   :brianr: :luvya:

I have this unit. Nothing wrong with the one you posted but if you find it hard to mount the actually unit like I did.

    Cobra 75WXST 40-Channel CB Radio https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00005N5WW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_U1OQAb9HAY5E5

All you have to worry about is where you want the remote. Everything is in the remote so no huge cb body to worry about. Only thing is you cannot use a p.a system with it. You can mount auxiliary speakers though.

No it has a tiny box. That you plug the antennae into and the mic. Mine sits behind the dash with Velcro tape.

I had mine for a few years. The mic speaker blew but I just use an auxiliary speaker now and all is well. Have had it for like 6 years

Ok after doing some reading, I dont want my CB to sound like shit when I send and receive. So I am going to get all the things recommended for proper mounting and tuning. I will probably move the antenna more than once, so the SWR meter is worth to me. I will list my crap and you can tell me how crazy I am.

Saturday the guy is showing up to get the final parts of my stock suspension, so that money is going directly in to swisha loop goods.

    3' Firestik

Mount that looks modifiable for what ever I want

    Spring for mount

    Good Quality Connector

    Cobra 75WXST

    SWR Meter
