    Have it on my schedule and plenty of time to learn and plan for July 2019 but would appreciate any input. Going on a J-boat with 14. Particularly interested in keeping the wife as comfortable and happy as possible for 6 days and 188 River miles. She is a river rat in a kayak Kentucky style, plenty tough enough and proven on shorter trips. My biggest concern is that she isn’t crazy about my favorite river (the Cumberland below Wolf Creek Dam) because of the water temp. Appreciate any input.

    Satoshi, debadged, rear view mirror bracket, tail gate hose clamps, trimmed mud flaps.
    It will be hot enough in July, the water temp of the Colorado River will be refreshing.

    @KyYote58

    I was a GCRG guide a decade ago or so and @T Fades is spot on for water temp being a lifesaver in the summer.

    You will be high enough off the water on those Western Jrigs to be hot and dry during the majority of your trip.

    I am not on this forum too often anymore (better on the bank account) you can send me a PM if you have additional questions though.

    I highly endorse the Grand canyon river trip! If your river guides are great, tip them like your favorite bartender:thumbsup:

    How was the trip? Floated in October, 2010 on a private permit. Best 21 days of my life.
