The real benefit of carbon fiber is it's ability to shed heat. I've been told that the carbon fiber barrels don't heat up past a certain point no matter how many or how quickly you fire bullets which benefits accuracy but the biggest benefit is barrel life due to lower temps.

Underground Tactical. This was fall of 2015 so there may be other options on the market now. They eventually refunded my deposit but it was I who was tasked with obtaining updates.

Yeah, I was trying to stay away from that winless argument. A 338 is no doubt, an awesome round. But it does come with a much harder punch them say like a 6.5 Creedmoor. Although obviously it doesn’t have the same punch as the 338, but it definitely gets out there for what it is.

If I was going to call him out on his claim , I would have to throw in the
375 or 408 cheytac into the mix. And made him argue that! LOL

There's soooo many options on "Hunting". If you're chasing bunnies for meat, it's a bad choice .

For north American .223 class and a 30-06 will cover pretty much the entire continent. I'd prefer something with a bit more punch if I'm after the big bears up north but the 06 will do in a pinch. If you're going overseas you want more bang in your boom stick.

22-250 for varmints. Make sure you spend as much $$$ on a quality scope as you did on the rifle.

Love Tikka rifles, you get a lot out of them for the price.

    Have a few myself.
6.5 SAUM, proof cf barrel. In a KRG chassis.
.223, about to get rebarreled, also in a KRG.

What’s up guys? I have a question that should be perfect for this group. I’ve got an Eliseo Tube gun chassis(competition machine) that I ordered new and have been sitting on. Was originally going to build it into a 6.5cm rig but decided to go a different route. I honestly forget that I have it lol, and I seen this pop up on here. Anyone have any idea of the value? I believe I had like 850 in it new. Here’s a pic with the specifics. It’s setup for a rem short action. Since I’m probably not going to do anything with it I figured I’d like to sell it and roll the money into something else or possibly even trade it if something cool comes along. I ordered it in bare aluminum btw. I’d put it on the hide but I’ve never posted anything on there so that’s a no go lol I can take a pic if anyone needs one C347158E-1B8B-4B0A-B238-464D832E66F7.jpg

Here's my RPR in 6.5 that I sold. Shot great, but I'm leaning towards a custom smith'd barreled action next.
