    Just curious, what does the scanguage say your max hp is?
    I'm trying to figure if these reading are actually close or not

    Got it from EBay. Installation was not that easy without a template (I'm sure it was included but lost.) with the template, it would be easy-ish.

    So, I figured out why some people don't like K&N filters...

    Last weekend, I drove my truck, parked it for 15 mins, and went to restart it. It would start and then die shortly after. Wouldn't idle easily. After doing this a few times, it threw a few CEL's. I narrowed it down to a gunked up MAF sensor, due to the oiled filter. Once I cleaned the MAF, I ordered an AFE dry filter. This should fix that issue. Anyone else have issues with K&N?

    I've done a mod or two
    I'd really just recommend a nice OEM quality WIX paper filter. They're cheap and filter very well, your air filter isn't restrictive enough to warrant changing to some thing else unless you're boosted.

    Believe it or not I’ve never had an issue 560,000 miles. The trick is to oil very lightly

    I'm also starting to think that I have a slight hot-start issue too. If I drive for a while, shut off the truck, and try to restart it after 5-10 mins, it will sometimes sputter and die out. Fuel vaporization maybe? The odd thing is that it happened on the 4cyl too!

    Did you replace the fuel pump and fuel filter when you did the swap? My original fuel pump died at 250,000 if I remember correctly
    Does the v6 and 4 banger use the same fuel pump?

    The fuel lines are different from the 4cyl to the V6. Luckily, that was a good thing. The V6 fuel filter is 100x easier to get to. Swapped in an oem Toyota filter during the swap. Left the original pump. It's odd to me that the issue is only on hot days though. To specify, the 4 cyl struggled to start. The V6 starts and barely runs/dies.

    That is true. I had to keep it revved up for a minute or so, before it would idle. I did get a few CEL's, but none were for a misfire. One was for a O2 sensor, and one was a system loop malfunction of some sort. How would I go about testing the injectors?

    Probably. Luckily, I had just installed my scangaugeII a few days prior. Cleared the codes, cleaned the MAF, and the codes haven't reappeared.
