They are eBay front clear housings on stock bowl and rear housings...might just switch the clear housings again

 

Yeah, just a foam pad to put on a rotary tool like a porter cable. Just like clay, keep it lubricated with detailing spray.

 

It is just the pad and spray. You do not use actual clay on it. That would probably eat right through the clear coat if you get it spinning on the porter cable.

 

What brand do you guys use for your detailing compound?
At work I use Rupes coarse & polish compounds on the relating foam pads for regular 2 stage jobs. I like it but curious what else is good

Yep,merger.I’d have to further research but from what i remember Naugles had been around since 1970 where as Del Taco started in the 60’s and both are SoCal establishments.

I know when i move to CA.in 1980 both local locations were Naugles before changing to Del Taco in i think between 82-84yr’s.

In 2014 i think but don’t remember his last name but first name was Christian and he established the Naugles name after it was abandoned.He got the trademark for the rights and had a place i remember going to in Fountain Valley,CA.in a industrial area off of Ellis/Euclid.It was either open or not.The times i rolled through it was legit,authentic.

I know for sure now that within the last yr or so i met the dude at the location that he opened up on the beach in front of the Waterfront Hilton Resort who he has rental agreements with them.Dude tripped me out on the day i met him as he was literally questioning me if i understood the Naugles history.Thought he was just someone who remembered the history.He ended up understanding my knowledge and explaining how he has revamped the tradition and comped my meal etc.
Also a new location has been opened up within the last yr.that i personally haven’t been to yet in HB locally to me but i think it’s off of Heil/Bolsa Chica.

 

We should definitely do it.Like i said haven’t stopped in but living in the area parking lots have become smaller and smaller(LOL!)but i know the street parking stays consistent.

I knew Harold Butler. His Family lived on the street just above me when i was growing up. Matter of fact my brothers use to drive trucks in the middle of the night to stock the Las Vegas locations in the early 80s for him.

 

Well than it makes it that much more special knowing that someone that some of us know of something that’s been understood for us youngen’s.Let’s roll Tom!

It’s a blessing that they’re are companions out there that still respect the overall care of a vehicle other than the mechanical importance.

 

I thought Naugles was long gone. I am down to hit up the one in HB and then try out The Dude’s Brewery.

 

Looked at a map and the brewery and Naugles are a 5 min walk from each other.

 

Cool...then ill only have to drive 1 minute

Yep and that’s the Naugles location that’s on the beach and the Dude’s location that is on the opposite side of PCH.A cassual 5 min.walk.Parking isn’t convenient for any of us interested but meeting up obviously is.
