    Curt,

That compressor you linked says this in the description:

MULTIPLE USES: Inflate tires on cars, bikes, sedan and midsize SUV. DOES NOT SUPPORT LT, HT and Truck Tires. Adaptors for balls and inflatables included.

It may work just fine, just be wary...

Yes, saw that. I cant imagine it not airing up a taco, dakota, or MKX tire though. All have good rubber, and will stay that way. So the compressor will be used very little, if at all.
I also understand the limits of a plug in. vs clamps.

Probably your best option would be an MV-50 type pump like I mentioned, hard wired. There is a guy in the Gen 2 marketplace selling mounts for this pump to put it in the engine bay.

This. I have had a old MV-50 mounted and hardwired in my bay for a few years now. Works well enough to fill my 295s...couple minutes per tire. I use an ATV winch cover to keep it clean when not used.

A compressor that is too small isnt worth it. I have a old $50 Kobalt one that I used to use for regular 265s. It actually works well and is going on 5 years old...its just twice as slow as a MV-50 .... https://uedata.amazon.com/Kobalt-Electric-Compressor-Portable-Inflator/dp/B00KK5RINC

You dont have to mount the thing...they are perfectly portable for use in 3 vehicles. However if the Tacoma is the one you are airing up and down then it just needs to be stout enough to do so.

I use my hardwired and mounted one on other cars all the time...the just have to park nearby lol

Where exactly did you say that it had to be portable and used in 3 different vehicles?? That's a terrible idea anyway. I guarantee you that if you ever actually need it, it will be in one of the cars you are NOT driving. Buy a crappy little plug in, and you stand a 50/50 chance that it will work ONCE. The tiny ones all overheat.
