I need to get a clean pic of your logo, my wife figured out how to etch glass using her vinyl machine. So I am going to make my own Pitfaced etched beer glass.

 

We're still pretty small, so we don't have much, but I do own three things that I have to kind of protect: a rub recipe, our name, and our logo. I DEFINITELY want to be repped out there as much as possible, I just ask that it goes through me. I hope that's fair.

I finally got around to reaching out to my "laser" guy about getting some glasses done. I'd pass those along pretty cheap. Make a couple of bucks for my time, but otherwise sell pretty close to my cost + shipping. I should have something tomorrow.

A couple of other shirt orders came in today using a familiar discount code. Looking forward to getting those shipped out!

 

I'm very interested in a dark colored shirt of some sort. Not sure on the accent color yet. Our small size at the moment means that just meeting the minimum purchase quantity ties up a fair bit of our capital, so we can't expand too much on that front or get too exploratory with our color schemes. The balance is a pain in the you-know-what. Million dollar ideas, hundred dollar budgets .

That said, all suggestions are definitely catalogued and kept for consideration. As we grow, we want to explore as many of those ideas as possible, so absolutely keep them coming!

I haven't seen a food picture in this thread in a while, so here is what we cooked this weekend and here is the attire two of us cooks (Brandon on the left, me on the right) wore during the partaking of pictured vittles. Some of these may have made it in to the Smoking thread, but I can't remember .

 

I get you and respect that. It is cheaper for me to do it the way I want on the glasses I want and still give you more money than you would make on selling them to me.

No disrespect or trying to take money from you. Was trying to brag that I was going to represent your logo while drinking beer in my house.

 

Oh, you're good. I know. Trust me, not an ounce of disrespect taken . I appreciate anything getting the brand out there. We might take this to PM and work something out .

I think I know the method you're talking about with the vinyl machine. Have you tried it out, yet? We have trouble with cutting our logo out of vinyl in the first place because the letters in the hat and the whites of the eyes are so damn tiny*. Wasn't sure how that would translate with the etching. Might have to give it a shot myself!

*Free advice for anyone else starting up: Consider the many different ways you may ultimately want to display your logo and keep it as simple as you can while still making you happy with the design!

Well, what are your impressions?!?!?!

 

seeing that big of a pic of the logo, tells me that shirt would look badass with that big logo on the back, and "Pitfaced BBQ" on left chest all done with black shirt and safety green.

 

Mine was in the mailbox, and the wife forgot to take it out of her car this morning! I’ll post up later.
