    Just a thought. I dont want the lift of the 63s but I want the rest of the benefits.

    I'm not sure that'd work very well, or at all. They have a pretty shallow arch, although I don't see why you couldn't have them areched more. But really I don't know that they'd be long enough for you to see any real benefit either in ride quality or flex when used for SUA. SOA you could still make it pretty low slung and flex decent.

    See the above post. I dont want to add another leaf because a thicker pack would lower it even more.

    You can arch a pack without adding leaves, a good spring shop can modify the pack you have with force and heat. Although really you should just have deaver or alcan make some springs the proper length and specs for your truck weight and desired stance.

    Ideally I would buy a f67 pack, hardware, and shocks all in one go but thats not happening anytime soon

    F67s suck too.

    You'd want an E30 pack most likely.

    using 63s for SUA is a terrible terrible idea. They aren't long enough and they don't have enough arch even if you rearched them.

    63s are not a good spring for a LT build at all. Idk what "advantages" you are talking about, but there are none for what you are going for.

    Buy once..cry once.

    Ive heard good about f67s. Never heard of E30s. The 63s SUA isnt for long travel, its more to replace the rear pack with the tried and relatively trusted 63s but with a twist. I can get myself a set of extended bilstein 5125s for the rear.

    I'm not sure I see what that would gain you in that configuration. 63s are a good upgrade in SOA setup if you aren't actually aiming for LT performance. I think it'd be quite a bit more work for not really anything in SUA setup and when you do go to LT springs later on you'll have to do most of that work again.

    They aren't the right leaves for your application any way you try to put it then. You can pull leaves out of the pack to lower the truck.

    63's by themselves don't really provide a ton of lift, mostly because they're pretty flat. It's the way you mount them that tends to provide lift. You would need to french in spring hangers and use short shackles to keep the height down.
    I think they're awesome for ride quality, flex, ability to hold weight, and (the best part) they're cheap as hell. They're definitely not an LT type spring though, and don't be like the 3rd gen guy who spent ~1500 to get them installed on his truck.

    I wasnt gonna spend more than SUA hardware and a hanger. Ill put up a pic of the pack I have sometime tomorrow. They have decent arch to them.

    Of course it's a third gen haha, at $1500 he would have been well on his way to funding a link system that would way out perform leafs haha. Or just bought leafs that were designed to perform for his truck. The 63/64s make sense at the price point they're intended to be done at, are there seriously others that have put 1.5k or more into them?

    you need to do more reading on spring and LT setups if you haven't heard of E30s. A far superior spring. Or H70s. F67s won't hold any weight. I mean like..NONE. Not even spare tires.

    If you don't want lift then why did you get 63s? Just buy some OEM leafs or go for Wheelers 4 packs.

    If you make the 63s with no lift, they also won't hold weight.

    Again, the geometry will be horrendous if you do SUA with 63s, please don't do that.

    SOA, yeah go for it. I don't think its an ideal setup at all personally if you are into go fast stuff at all. But whatever.

Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. MX series camper shell. All-Pro Apex front bumper w/ All-Pro skid plates all the way back to the Trans. Low Range fuel skid plate.
    I need to do this. I only have 145k on my truck but I travel a lot and feel like it needs to be done.
