Had my sr8 for over 2 years. Always been outside. Dirt, sand and water gets in there. No scratches or stains.

Yep. I thought it was at the beadlock, but after looking close I realized it was on the actual rim. :annoyed:

Check and see if you have room to put some thin plastic washers behind the beadlock to give the water a place to escape. I looked at doing that to mine but the water is being held in the actual wheel.

Has anyone tried a coat of wax or a paint sealer to avoid water stains? I don’t worry about the water too much, if they were the $1600 each HREs I had on an Audi I used to own, I would be freaking....alas these are $250 wheels on a truck.

I do however understand some of the guys on this forum keep their trucks REALLY clean, and would be driven crazy by this detail.

Had the same problem on my Methods with water collecting. Have drilled a few holes for the water to drain, problem solved.

If they’d get damaged from a little water then they wouldn’t be advertised as an off road wheel. Plenty of people take them wheeling. Just clean them.

If you look at these wheels, it appears that the water would be able to be released if the beadlock ring wasn't up against the wheel. My theory was to install 1mil thick plastic 8mm washers between the ring and the wheel, on each beadlock ring bolt. That should allow the water to drain and prevent pooling.
